Production Team

Christine Oakden (Director)

Chrissie joined Erewash Musical Society as a teenager back in the 70s, when it was under our previous name Edacra Musical Society. Chrissie has performed in many EMS productions and played the iconic Sally Smith in Me and My Girl. Chrissie co-founded our youth society EMUS and directed their production of Boogie Nights. Expect a fantastic production from Chrissie!

Hayley Wood (Choreographer)

Hayley has performed in numerous EMS productions, but is probably best known for her incredible performance as Morticia Addams in Addams Family the Musical. More recently she stepped behind bars to play Shell Dockley in Bad Girls the Musical. Hayley is frequently on and off stage, and directed the EMUS production of Fame Jr.

George Parkinson (Musical Director)

This is George’s first time working with EMS, but he’s known to our audiences as an EMUS regular! George was the musical director for our NODA award winning production of Annie Get Your Gun. Most recently he was the MD for the fantastic production of The Lightning Thief. We’re excited to have him at EMS for Boogie Nights!
